Personal Work: Flashing Ingredients

These images were an experiment and challenge to myself to use the GIF format in a different way than I’m used to. My initial idea was to create suspense and curiosity as ingredients flashed by, hoping the viewer would start to guess what the final image would be. As per usual, Betsy Hayley and I had a great time reverse engineering the concept, and in the editing phase I pushed past my initial idea and decided to do a unique edit for each food.
